Jaime Cuesta

margen / Jaime CuestaWhen most small children were drawing scrawls, I already knew how to paint with oils and watercolours, and had inherited a French easel from my father, which I could barely reach. Soon enough would come Pollock, H.R. Giger or Francis Bacon to take me away from those first seascapes of Sorolla, that I used to paint for practice.

I began my painting studies with José Antonio Aguado, painter and artist from La Rioja, who taught me how to perfect my style, use mixed techniques or lose the fear of exhibiting my work. After studying at the (Higher School of Art and Design) of La Rioja during various years, I came to Madrid to do a Masters in Design and Development of Web Projects (MDI) at the Escuela Profesional de Nuevas Tecnologías CICE de Madrid. (Professional School of New Technologies) of Madrid.

I now work as the Head of Multimedia Development at Margen, where I am Web Designer and Flash Web Developer, although I combine it with other freelance projects.
